Comm. 602: AMENDS CHAPTER 14, ARTICLE 1, OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 (Bill 196) EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES Amends Section 14-6, Penalty, by deleting the fine of $500 and adds the following language: A violation of this article shall constitute a petty misdemeanor. Any person violating any provision of this article shall be guilty of a petty misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a term of imprisonment of not more than thirty days, a fine not to exceed $1000, or both. Ford, dated January 24, 2012, requesting the Police Department to provide an update on the “Take-Home Police Radio” policy. On June 15, 2011, the Council passed Resolution 78-11, which established this policy. Postponed: February 14, 2012 (Note: There is a pending motion by Ms. Ford and duly seconded by Mr. Onishi, to close file on Comm. 563.)
