Comm. 626: URGES THE MAYOR TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT A FULLY FUNDED
(Res. 232-12) DIVERSION GRANTS PILOT PROGRAM FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
Urges the Mayor to develop and implement a pilot diversion grant program for recyclable
materials at the County's transfer stations by July 1, 2012, by providing a monetary incentive
in order to increase the diversion rates by motivating the general public with a financial
reward.
