CALL TO ORDER — 9:55 a.m. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEM(S) ON THE AGENDA REFERRAL(S) Fred Blas, Mllember Brenda Ford, Member Pete Hoffmann, Member Donald Ikeda, Mllember Dennis "Fresh" Onishi, Mllember Dominic Yagong, Member J Yoshimoto, Mllember URGES THE MAYOR TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT A FULLY FUNDED DIVERSION GRANTS PILOT PROGRAM FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII Urges the Mayor to develop and implement a pilot diversion grant program for recyclable materials at the County's transfer stations by July 1, 2012, by providing a monetary incentive in order to increase the diversion rates by motivating the general public with a financial reward.
