SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
SECTION 24-286.1 — NEW ANGLE PARKING PERMITTED AREA
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10 (Schedules), Division 5
(Parking), Section 24-286.1, Schedule 34.1 (Angle parking permitted areas), subsection
(C) South Hilo be amended by adding new item and renumbering as required:
( ), LANIHULI STREET, FROM THE PROPERTY LINE BETWEEN PARCELS
2-2-021:025 AND 2-2-021:043 TO ITS WESTERN TERMINUS. IN THE
MARKED STALLS.
This amendment is necessary to designate parking and no parking areas in an effort to
provide adequate sight distance at three driveway locations in the area.
A location map is attached for your reference.
