SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
SECTION 24-276 — CROSSWALK—ALII DRIVE
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10 (Schedules), Division 4
(Pedestrians), Section 24-276, Schedule 24 (Crosswalks), subsection (f) Kona be
amended by adding new item and renumbering as required:
( ) ALII DRIVE, EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTEEN FEET NORTH OF MAKOLEA
STREET.
The intent of this amendment is to provide a marked crosswalk adjacent to a heavily
used section of Kahaluu Beach Park.
A location map is attached for your reference.
