Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Resolution No. 137-99, transmitted by
Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro per Communication No. 424, dated August 17, 1999, regarding
the naming of a street in the County of Hawaii, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 137-99 authorizes the approval of a street name for a roadway within the
Paniolo II Subdivision, Increment I, Honokohau 2"°, North Kona, Hawaii.
The Planning Commission at its August 9, 1999, meeting approved the name for the roadway as
follows:
"Hao Kuni Place"
Your Committee did not entertain any discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Planning concurs with the intent and purpose of Resolution No. 137-99, and
recommends its adoption.
