Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 215,
reports as follows:
Bill No. 215, from Public Works Director Warren H. W. Lee, transmitted via Communication
No. 633, dated March 15, 2012, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-286.1,
Schedule 34.1 (Angle parking permitted areas), subsection (c), by adding a new item and
renumbered as required: "( ) Lanihuli Street, from the property line between parcels
2-2-021:025 and 2-2-021:043 to its western terminus, in the marked stalls."
This amendment is necessary to designate parking and no parking areas in an effort to provide
adequate sight distance at three driveway locations in the area.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Bill No. 215, and recommends its passage on first reading.
