Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 216,
reports as follows:
Bill No. 216, from Public Works Director Warren H. W. Lee, transmitted via Communication
No. 634, dated March 15, 2012, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 4, Section 24-276,
Schedule 24 (Crosswalks), subsection (f), by adding a new item and renumbered as required:
"( ) Ali`i Drive, eight hundred fifteen feet north of Makole`a Street."
This amendment is necessary to provide a marked crosswalk adjacent to a heavily used section
of Kahalu`u Beach Park.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Bill No. 216, and recommends its passage on first reading.
