K. Angel Pilago, dated January 24,2012,apprising Council Members, nonprofit agencies who
have submitted applications, and the public of the upcoming grant review process and the
assignment of an ad hoc committee created by the HSSPSC.

Comm. 562.1: AD HOC COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2012-13
APPROPRIATIONS FOR GRANTS TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
From Committee on Human Services, Social Services, and Public Safety Chair Angel Pilago, dated
April 5, 2012, submitting recommendations for the FY 2012-13 appropriations for Grants to
Nonprofit Organizations. A total of 99 eligible nonprofit organization program applications were
received(referenced in Exhibit B). The total amount requested is $3,471,959. The preliminary
budget appropriation for this fiscal year is$1,500,000.
