SUBJECT: Communication No. 640: Confirmation of Appointment of Ms. Oshi
Simsarian to the Puna CDP Action Committee
Unfortunately, Ms. Oshi Simsarian will be off island on April 17, 2012 and unable to attend the
Council hearing on confirmation to her appointment to a 4-year term as a member of the Puna
CDP Action Committee. Ms. Simsarian is not scheduled to return to Hawaii County until July
9, 2012.
Ms. Simsarian previously appeared before the Council on November 16, 2011 when her
appointment to the one year remaining of a term vacated with the resignation of Mr. Wesley
Owens. This appointment is for her to assume the 4-year term of the recently resigned Ms. Kelly
Nafie.
I will be in attendance at the April 17 meeting of the Council and available to respond to any
questions the Council Members may have. In the meantime, please feel welcome to contact me
if you have any questions or concerns that I might be of assistance.
