ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 8 (ZONING CODE), HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS
AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 8, article 27, is hereby amended by adding
thereto Section J:
"J. If the Director finds that the public welfare and
safety will not be violated, he may waive portions
or all of the requirements and standards of this
code for consolidation and resubdivision action
resulting in the creation of the same or less number
of lots than that which existed prior to the consoli-
dation/resubdivision action; provided, however, that
prior to the granting of any waiver, Che Director
shall confer with the Chief Engineer and the Manager
of the Department of Water Supply and other appli-
cable government agencies."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
