SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
SECTION 24-267 - ONE WAY STREETS — PAKALANA STREET
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10 (Schedules), Division 2
(Moving Vehicles), Section 24-267, Schedule 15 (One Way Streets), subsection (a)
Hamakua be amended by revising existing item:
(3) Pakalana Street in Honokaa. All vehicular traffic shall move only in the
SOUTHERLY Imaukal direction from Mamane Street to Kamani Street between
the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 3:00 p.m. on school days only.
This proposed amendment was generated to revise the end time of the temporary one
way traffic pattern on Pakalana Street to match the Honokaa Elementary School,
Honokaa Intermediate School, and Honokaa High School end time.
