No. 675/Res. 246-12 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 8:01 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 246-12, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution 246-12, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford via Communication <br /> No. 675, dated April 13, 2012, authorizes the acceptance of a monetary donation of$2,000 from <br /> the Keaukaha Community Association to the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used to <br /> help pay for the training of its staff to repair"Softurf," a safety-surface for playgrounds. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawai`i County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the <br /> County, may accept gifts or donations of money. <br /> Chair Ford requested staff contact Parks and Recreation Director Bob Fitzgerald or designated <br /> representative to appear at the next Council meeting on May 15, 2012.
