AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION l OF THE HAWALI
COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO 25 MILE PER HOUR

RE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to lower the speed limit to 25 mph within
the school zone that is being established for the Keonepoko Elementary School.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24 -555, Schedule 3. 25 mile per
i !). law'ar i County Code 198.3 (2005 edition. as amended). Is amended n'•
adding Inc iollowmg to he appropriately, numbered and to read as follows
( Z Kahakai Boulevard from the property line between parcels 1-5-'09 ;. and
1 -5 -9:59 and extending fifty eight feet northeast of Aama Stree;
SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. Ncv nrat,::ia1 is

SECTION 4 Severability. If any provision of this ordinance or : tppiiruati:rn thereof
to any person or cirr:un:stance. is held invalid. such invalidity shall not affect mho. prov isiuns or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application.
and to this end. the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SEC_ TION 5. This ordinance snail take effect upon its approval.
