COUNTY OF HAWAII : o , .� STATE OF HAWAII <br />,TE•OF <br />BILL NO. 202 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 12 62 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 1, SECTION 24 -260 <br />OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO 45 <br />MILE PER HOUR LIMIT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to revise the 45 mph speed limit area on <br />Kahakai Boulevard to allow for the implementation of a new 25 mph area fronting Keonepoko <br />Elementary School. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24 -260. Schedule 8, 45 mile per hour <br />limit, subsection (g)(1) of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended to read <br />as follows: <br />(1) <br />Kahakai Boulevard, Highway 130 to the property line between parcels 1 -5 -9:09 <br />and 1 -5 -9:59 Keeriepo,elieol. <br />SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In <br />printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be <br />included. <br />SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br />to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br />applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application. <br />and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
