SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 253-12: A RESOLUTION URGING
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF THE LEGISLATIVE
AUDITOR TO PROVIDE A REPORT SUMMARIZING THE ACTUAL
PERFORMANCE LEVELS OF NONPROFIT GRANTEES REPORTED IN
COMPARISON TO THEIR PERFORMANCE GOALS STATED IN THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII NONPROFIT GRANT APPLICATIONS
Please see below a proposed amendment to Resolution No. 253-12, which will be heard for the
first reading June 18, 2012 at the Governmental Relations Committee (GRC).
The enacting clause of Resolution No. 253-12 is amended to read (material to be added is
underscored):
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the Office
of the Legislative Auditor is requested to provide on an annual basis a report analyzing the
efficacy of each nonprofit program by comparing the actual achievements of the program as
reported by the grantee in the final report against the performance objectives stated in their
respective applications for County funds."
