No. 732/Res. 262-12 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 1:38 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 262-12, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution 262-12, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford via Communication <br /> No. 732, dated May 30, 2012, authorizing the Office of the Mayor to enter into an agreement <br /> with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Honolulu Division, pursuant to HRS 46-7, to allow for <br /> the use of office space at the Hilo Police Station. <br /> Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, County departments must obtain the consent <br /> of the Council to enter into agreements with the Federal or State governments respecting action <br /> to be taken pursuant to any powers granted by law to furnish, expend, and receive any funds or <br /> other assistance connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those powers. <br /> Assistant Chief Marshall Kanehailua appeared before Your Committee.
