Aloha Council Members
Please register my support of GMO labeling, which I believe is as long overdue as CMOs
have been in existence.
I am not able to think of a more basic right of a human being than to know what is going
into their mouths and the mouths of their loved ones, and it is angering to me that this
most fundamental of rights has been categorically denied from the inception of GMO foods,
and that this denial is based on industry machinations and the collusion of politicians.
Hawai'i is often a beacon of reason and justice, and I deeply hope that this issue becomes
another such example in the very near future. The labeling of GMOs cannot happen too soon,
in my opinion.
