Denying citizens the basic right to know what is in the food they purchase is "over the top", something to be found in the likes of N. Korea or such! If the powers to be are worried that GMO ingredient labeling will result is GMO rejection- hopefully they are right. Anyone honestly informed about this stuff knows that it is an economic fraud and an environmental and health disaster, to say nothing about the fact that it is biologically unrecallable. Public policy under the guise of ag.jobs has already made Hawaii a GMO sacrifice zone. As a nation promoting bio-tech at any cost we have been forced to live with this particular genetic nightmare and all it's false promises. Are we to continue to be forced to live without choice? Passionately and respectfully I ask you to support the bright light light from Maui- HSAC communication 480. Mahalo, Geoffrey Rauch P.S. I realize that communication 480 is not perfect and ready to be shredded by the usual cast of characters in Honolulu. What is important to understand is that these are just going to keep coming as citizens get educated and rightly demand their right to know. Comm. No. Ov• 3 O Ref. To: 1410 Ref. Dote 0 7 nil 12/5/2011
