I am very relieved to know that due attention is being given to this important issue. It is very practical and easy to use recyclable clothe bags for shopping. I see no reason why the provision of plastic bags should be continued in stores if they are not biodegradable. I sincerely hope that our communities will soon be ready to compromise this convenience for the health of our planet and all of its life forms. It is a minute step in what is needed environmentally.
