Aloha,
I would like to ask for your support in passing Bill 128.
I believe that the voters/taxpayers should decide whether or not to amend the County Charter with regard
to setting aside funds for the maintenance of public lands purchased with the "2% Funds".
I know that it is difficult to stretch the County budget to cover all the vital things we ask you to provide.
But I am also of the opinion that there are few things more important than preserving the 'aina and kai for
our Keiki. There certainly must be other areas to cut, and I think that by placing this measure on the
ballot you will allow the people who are paying for these services to demonstrate where their priorities lie.
