RESOLUTION CREATING THROUGH STREETS FOR THE FAIRWAY AND
ALII KAI (UNITS I AND II) SUBDIVISIONS, AND TO CREATE 1,10 -
PARKING ZONES FOR KAWAILAINI STREET AND KAUMANA DRIVE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AIvD FOR
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that pursuant to the provisions of
Section 2-1(b), Ordinance 377, Revised Ordinances of the
County of Hai-vaii 1960, and amending Resolution No. 703 (1966)
Of the County of Hawaii:
1) Through streets for the Fairway Subdivision are
established as follows: Alohalani Drive except at Haihai and
Kaunaloa Streets, Kapaka Street, Kaunaloa Street except at
Haihai Street;
2) Through streets for the Alii Kai Subdivision, Units
I and II are established as follows: Royal Poinciana Drive
except, at Alii Drive, Plumeria Road except at Royal Poinciana
Drive;
3) A no -parking zone is created on the Puna side of
Kawailani Street from Kinoole to Komohana Streets;
4) A no -parking zone is created on the Puna side of
Kaumana Drive from Ainako to Iiwipolena Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Department of Public
Works, County of Hawaii, is hereby instructed to erect the
proper traffic signs to inform the public of the above changes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution
be transmitted to the Department of Public Works and to the
Police Department.
