SUBJECT: Transmitting Bill No. 279, Draft 2; An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 12-
87, as amended, Relating to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for the
Fiscal Year July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013
Attached please find Bill No. 279, Draft 2, which incorporates action taken during the July 18,
2012, Finance Committee.
Per Communication No. 774.1 from the Department of Finance:
"Inadvertently, the bill included a document referenced as Exhibit B showing the distribution
method of the local road projects. This document should have instead been included as part of
Communication 774 and not part of Bill 279. The removal of Exhibit B from Bill 279 does not
affect the contents of the bill, since Bill 279 makes no reference to Exhibit B."
The Committee on Finance moved to remove Exhibit B, which motion was passed. This motion
is exclusive to removal of Exhibit B; there are no other changes to Bill No. 279.
Please place Bill No. 279, Draft 2, on the August 1, 2012, Council agenda for first reading.
