Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 270,
reports as follows:
Bill No. 270,transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H.W. Lee, via Communication
No. 757, dated June 7, 2012, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-257,
Schedule 5 (35 mile per hour limit), subsection(g), Puna, by adding a new item and renumbered
as required: "( ) South Kulani Road, from the property line between parcels 1-8-086:026 and
1-8-086:027 and extending three hundred feet northwest of bridge adjacent to parcels
1-7-011:002 and 1-8-086:003."
The amendment is necessary to revise the speed limits along this section of South Milani Road.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Bill No. 270, and recommends its passage on first reading.
