WHEREAS, HAROLD TANOUYE, JR., has been named the
State's Outstanding Young Farmer by the Hawaii Junior
Chamber of Commerce and will represent Hawaii at the
National Awards Program, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and
WHEREAS, said selection was based on his ci vi c
and social contributions and proficient agricultural
practices,
NOW, 1EREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY I�-iE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS in and for the County of Hawaii that it does
hereby congratulate and commend HAROLD TANOUYE, JR., for
being dhosen the State's Outstanding Young Farmer and wish
him success at the National Awards Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and
she is hereby instructed to forward a true copy of this
resolution to HAROLD TANOUYE, JR.
