Traffic Schedule amendment relating to Kamana Street
For your consideration, attached is a proposed amendment to: Bill 365.
This amendment will be numbered: Bill 365. Draft 2.
Description of and reasons for changes:
This bill contains two changes.
1. In section 1, "South" is added before Hilo. Reason: to be consistent with
language in existing code. Source: Ordinance no. 96-163, effective 12/24/96.
2. In section 4, effective date was changed from 1/1/97 to "This ordinance shall take
effect upon approval." Reason: date in Draft 1 was inconsistent with County
Charter, subsection 3-] 0(f) which provides that, "Ordinances shall become
effective upon approval by the mayor or at such later date as may be specified
therein."
