STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A
DONATION OF TWO DELL PRINTERS TO THE OFFICE OF THE
PROSECUTING ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, Dell of Hawai'i is donating two (2) printers to the Office of
the Prosecuting Attorney; and
WHEREAS, one (1) printer is valued at $1,099.99 and one (1) printer is
valued at $1,809.99; and
WHEREAS, one (1) printer will be used in the Prosecutor's Hilo office
and one (1) printer will be used in the Prosecutor's Kona office; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawai'i County Charter
provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of
donations of money, securities or other personal property or of real estate or
any interest in real estate, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the
Hawai'i County Code states that any gifts or donations of money, securities, or
personal property which fall within the capitalization procedures of the
Department of Finance, may be accepted by resolution approved by the
Council; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney recommends the
acceptance of this donation; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County
Charter, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(a) of the Hawaii County
Code, the Council of the County of Hawaii accepts this donation.
