I live on the edge of the forest up in Keopu and a couple years ago I watched
the choppers fly over and heard most all the gun shots as they mowed down
150 head of cattle. This is why I got involved!
I didn't plan on speaking specifically about bill #260 or#261, although I
agree with them and support them totally, simply because they represent the
wishes of the people of our community, which is the real purpose of state
and county government, but I did want to talk about something I believe is
of much greater importance, and is at the center of all issues or conflict.
And that is, who are we serving? Are we serving others or are we serving
ourselves?
If we, humanity itself, focused on being of service to each other, we would
all be moving forward, growing and prospering together, instead of wasting
our lives fighting to get what we want from each other.
We were built by our Creator to give and receive! Not to give and take!
Taking is never good, simply because giving has nothing to do with it!
When we break this order of giving, we are literally putting our
human nature aside and adopting the nature of wild beasts, actually
degrading ourselves to the level of animals, with only one desire and that is
to devour and satisfy itself no matter who it hurts in the process. (This is
animal nature!)
I direct these words to the people in positions of leadership,(servants)
from our State government all the way down to the leadership in our homes,
that no matter what bill or issue presents itself, should make decisions
based on what is good for all! This is (human nature)
I know for some of you, this kind of talk may be going over your
heads, and some may disagree completely, but if you take some time and
use your God given discernment, you will see that if these principles of
giving are practiced by all positions of leadership in our country, we can
completely eliminate the beastly results of selfish thinking!
Greed, especially in our State and County government, has, and always
will, continue to lead to economic disaster as we are all witnesses of this
happening right now today, not only in our country but most all counties
around the world!
If we Humans choose to continue to behave in this kind of self serving
manner, we will continue to speed up this downward spiral into poverty as a
result of our animalistic greed that may seem to benefit a chosen few for a
short time, but will ultimately only lead to the self destruction of us all.
So no matter what issue presents itself in our lives as leaders,( servants)
if we want to live and prosper together, let us operate in our God given-
Human Nature. Comm. cy`73 0.7
