Subject: Testimony for Bill 261, Prohibiting Aerial Shooting of Animals
Members of the County Council,
This method of control is ineffective and barbaric. A kill shot cannot be guaranteed and
even if it is, they are still polluting the environment with the remains of the animal.
There are other more practical methods of controlling any species. We do not want a
repeat of 50+ cattle shot on the watershed and left to rot. This is inexcusable and a
waste.
