I have been a licensed hunter in this State of Hawaii for
over fifty years . Although I am a resident of Oahu, I totally
agree with the two subject bills before you and there is no
doubt in my mind that a very high number of my associates also
support my conviction that these two bills will result in
preserving the future for those who enjoys hunting, fishing and
protecting the traditional cultural gathering rights .
Game management practices have proven to be effective
throughout the country and the world. This procedure is
mentioned with the mind set that your above two bills are moving
towards the final result of producing a good game management
program. This will not only benefit Hawaii Island but the entire
hunting public in this State .
My congratulations in your efforts and highly recommend
that Bills 261 and 260 be adopted.
