Your Committee on Public Works and Parks, to which was referred Communication No. 63,
and attached Resolution No. 17-99, reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No.17-99 is to authorize the County, pursuant to section 23-10 of the
Hawaii County Code and article XIII, section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, to accept a
dedication deed transmitting real property for road and drainage purposes from Ohia Development
Corporation. The dedication deed is for a roadway lot located in Kaloko-Mauka Subdivision, Increment
I, North Kona, Hawaii, specifically identified as Tax Map Key No: (3) 7-3-24:102.
Communication No. 63 is from Corporation Counsel Richard Wurdeman, dated December 13,
1998, transmitting Resolution No. 17-99 for the Council's review and consideration. Mr.
Takase states in his letter that the deed has been reviewed by the Depanment of Public Works and the
Planning Department and has recommended acceptance of the dedication deed. All subdivision
improvements have been completed.
Council Member J. Curtis Tyler voted kanalua twice.
Your Committee is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 17-99, and
recommends its adoption.
