NO. 114 /BILL NO. 28 (1999) PLACE: Councilroom TIME: 9:05 a.m. Chair and Members Hawaii County Council Hilo, Hawaii 96720 Your Committee on Public Works and Parks, to which was referred Communication No. 114, and attached Bill No. 28 (1999), reports as follows: The purpose of Bill No. 28 (1999) is to amend Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24- 279, Schedule 27 (Parking on pavement prohibited at all times), subsection (f) Kona, item (I), of the Hawaii County Code (1995 Edition). Communication No. 114 is from Deputy Chief Engineer, Jiro Sumada, dated January 15, 1999, transmitting Bill No. 28 (1999) for the Council's review and consideration. Mr. Sumada states that the bill provides a more accurate description of the existing "No Parking On Pavement" zones along the west side of Alii Drive. Council Members J. Curtis Tyler, III and Nancy Pisicchio voted kanalua twice in support of the measure, with reservations.
