CALL TO ORDER STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEM(S) ON THE AGENDA REFERRAL(S) Comm. 800: AMENDS CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE 3 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 (Bill 286) EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO DISPOSAL OF COMMERCIAL COOKING OIL WASTE AND COMMERCIAL FATS, OILS, AND GREASES Proposes the following amendments to Chapter 20, article 3: amends section 20 -3 1, by amending the definition of "prohibited materials" and adds the definitions "commercial cooking oil waste" and "commercial FOG waste "; and amends section 20 -40, relating to explosives, radioactive wastes, and other prohibited materials. Intr. by: Ms. Smart (Note: This measure was placed on the August 14, 2012 Committee agenda, however, this meeting was cancelled due to technical difficulties.) ; and Comm. 800.1: From Council Member Brittany Smart, dated August 10, 2012, transmitting proposed amendments to Bill 286. The amendments relate to the following: Amends the definitions of "prohibited materials" and "commercial FOG waste," and amends Section 20 -40 (Explosives, radioactive wastes and other prohibited materials).
