Hawaii County Council — 25 Aupuni Street co Hilo, Hawaii 96720 Re: Operating Budget The State Department of Transportation Public Affairs - Safe Community Program is providing an additional funding of$11,925 to the Hawaii County Police Department's Roadblock program. The grant funds will be used to allow the Hawaii County Police Department to increase the number of enforcement roadblocks during all national mobilization efforts. In the current fiscal year's budget, $144,000 was appropriated in anticipation of this grant. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the additional funds into the Roadblock program account and bringing the total grant appropriation to $155,925.
