Re: Operating Budget
The State Department of Transportation Public Affairs - Safe Community Program is
providing an additional funding of$3,435 to the Hawaii County Police Department's
Click It or Ticket program. The grant funds will be used to allow the Hawaii County
Police Department to finance the expanding of two volleyball tournaments. In the
current fiscal year's budget, $15,500 was appropriated in anticipation of this grant.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the
additional funds into the Click It or Ticket program account and bringing the total grant
appropriation to $18,935.
