Subject: Transmitting Bill No. 168, Draft 2; An Ordinance Amending Section 25-8-23
(Mountain View Zone Map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawai`i
County Code 1983 (2005 Edition), by changing the District classification from
Single-Family Residential— 10,000 square feet (RS-10) to Village Commercial—
10,000 square feet (CV-10) at `Ola`a , Puna, Hawai`i, covered by Tax Map Key:
1-8-002:064
Please find attached Bill No. 168, Draft 2. Bill No. 168 was amended by the contents of Comm.
No. 526.21, as duly approved by the Council during its meeting on September 6, 2012.
The Council suspended its rule requiring that bills and resolutions up for final reading that are
amended be held over until the next regular meeting (Rule No. 24(1e)), and subsequently
adopted Bill No. 168, Draft 2.
