SUBJECT: Resolution No. 297-12, Draft 2, Urging Hawai`i Electric Light Company to
Renegotiate its Purchase Power Agreement Contracts With All Independent
Power Producers Using Renewable Resources So That the Cost to
Consumers is Not Based on Avoided Costs
Attached is Resolution No. 297-12, as amended to Draft 2, which incorporates the
amendment contained in Communication No. 822.1 and duly approved by the Committee on
Agriculture, Water and Energy Sustainability on September 5, 2012.
