Excused: None UNFINISHED BUSINESS Comm. 786: AMENDS THE RULES OF PROCEDURE AND ORGANIZATION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE (Res. 279-12) COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I BY AMENDING RULE NO. 13, PUBLIC STATEMENTS AND TESTIMONY, RELATING TO VIDEO TESTIMONY Amends Rule No. 13, Public Statements and Testimony, by adding provisions regarding the submission of video testimony from any member of the public. Intr. by: Mr. Hoffmann Postponed: July 31, 2012 (Note: There is a pending motion by Mr. Hoffmann and duly seconded by Mr. Yagong to approve Resolution 279-12. The amendments relate to the “Be it Further Resolved” clause, and Item 2 (Video Testimony). GRC-28 Page 3 September 5, 2012 Comm. 787: URGES THE HAWAI‘I STATE LEGISLATURE TO ADEQUATELY FUND BOTH THE (Res. 280-12) HAWAI‘I CAMPAIGN SPENDING COMMISSION AND A STATEWIDE COMPREHENSIVE PUBLIC FUNDING SYSTEM FOR ELECTIONS States that the State Legislature take immediate action to adequately fund the Hawai‘i Campaign Spending Commission and a statewide comprehensive program upon convening the 2013 legislative session, and that the Council of the County of Hawai‘i supports legislative efforts to expand comprehensive public funding throughout the state.
