O oma at the top of the County's 2%land fund acquisition list.
Thanks to County Council members for their unanimous support for acquiring'O'oma!
Special thank you to Councilman Pilago for introducing the latest resolution to put'O'oma at the top of the County's land
acquisition list. I am asking all to support Communication 808 and Resolution 291-12 so that negotiations to purchase
'O'oma as public, open space can begin as soon as possible.
The community has worked to save this wonderful property for all Kona/Hawaii residents for years. Spending so many
hours to fight the good fight to save and preserve this property. We are not asking to buy a parking lot. This is what the 2%
fund was set up to provide!
Please do the right thing and move forward with this acquisition.
