Soon, we will no longer have the area around the surf break known as Pine Trees as it is now lost to development. Kohana`iki `Ghana, 'Apono Hawaii, the Surfrider Foundation, the Sierra Club, and many others like the Plan to Protect have been trying to preserve this precious `aina. Our County and also the larger Hawaii have joined in to protect this area for years! These two parcels have been on the priority list since the beginning of Hawaii County's Open Space & Natural Resources Preservation Commission. Please, let us --we the public and our government-- buy this land NOW to protect it. It is more precious than gold. Signed, Donna Worden registered voter in Kapa'au c. and I VOTE!!! ,o Comm.
