Please support Resolution 276-12 which asks that Hawai'l County acquire 'O'oma so
that it may be protected in perpetuity as natural, public, open space,
The community's has been persistent in its support for permanent conservation of'O'oma. Numerous groups
including Kohanaiki'Ghana, Surfrider Foundation, Sierra Club, 'Apono Hawai'I, Plan to Protect, have worked
tirelessly to protect'O'oma. This open, natural coastline area provides cultural,environmental, social and
recreational value to numerous Big Island residents and is worthy of protection.
