BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. The purpose of this measure is to address the adjustments to the no parking at anytime zones that were made in an effort to increase parking along Aupuni Street. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24 -280, Schedule 28. No parking at anytime, subsection (c), South Hilo, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended to read as follows: (c) South Hilo (1) Ainako Avenue, Hamakua side, between Kaumana Drive and the Ernest B. de Silva School entrance. (2) Alenaio Drive, makai side. (3) Anderton Camp Roadway, Hilo side, for its entire length. (4) 'Anela Street, mauka side, between Kawailani Street and Puainako Street. (5) Aupuni Street, northwest side, from a point one thousand one hundred [seventy eight]sixty -three feet southeast of Pauahi Street to Kilauea Avenue. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
