Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Resolution
No. 293-12, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 293-12, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H.W. Lee via
Communication No. 811, accepts the dedication of Makana Aloha Place, a portion of Tax Map
Key: (3)6-8-026:135, Ka Lani Estates Subdivision, situate at Waikoloa, District of South
Kohala, Island, County and State of Hawai`i, from Mr. Daniel Brents Bolton.
Council Member Hoffmann expressed his appreciation that this matter is finally being realized,
and he also commented that the community has been waiting for over 10 years for this to be
completed.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Resolution No. 293-12, and recommends its adoption.
