Resolution for the Hawaii County Council
Reoni Heights Subdivision
On November 14, 1996, the Office of Housing and Community
Development (OHCD) submitted a resolution to the Hawaii County
Housing Agency (HCHA) authorizing the Mayor to execute an
agreement to develop the proposed Keoni Heights project as an
affordable housing project pursuant to Section 201E of the
Hawaii Revised Statutes. The OHCD indicated that the HCHA would
review the resolution at its meeting of November 20, 1996, and
requested that the resolution be included on the Council agenda
for action at its November 21, 1996, meeting.
At the developer's request, however, the resolution was
withdrawn. The developer may request action at a later date.
The OHCD respectfully requests that this item be removed from the
Council agenda until the HCHA has had the opportunity to act on
the request. We anticipate this will take place at the next HCHA
meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 22, 1997.
