KAWAUCHI, ET AL, CIVIL NO. 12-1-0467, THE APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL COUNSEL, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING TO THE ABOVE-MENTIONED LAWSUITS From Council Chairperson Dominic Yagong, dated September 19, 2012, scheduling a Special Meeting of the Hawaii County Council on September 25, 2012, at 9 a.m. in the Hilo Council Chambers for the purpose of discussing with Corporation Counsel the lawsuits filed against Hawaii County, Dominic Yagong in his individual and official capacity as Council Chairperson, Jamae Kawauchi in her individual and official capacity as County Clerk, and Corporate Specialized Intelligence and Investigations, LLC. The Council anticipates convening an executive meeting regarding the above matter, pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with Council's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Council's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A 2/3 vote pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 92-4 and Rules 2 and 10 of the Rules of Procedure of the County Council is necessary to hold an executive meeting.
