COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 310 12 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF <br />THREE (3) WINCHESTER -WESTERN SELF -LOADING SKEET TRAPS <br />FROM THE STATE OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF LAND AND <br />NATURAL RESOURCES <br />WHEREAS, the State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources is <br />donating three (3) Winchester -Western self -loading skeet traps, with a total value of <br />$5,115 to the Department of Parks and Recreation; and <br />WHEREAS, this equipment will be used at the County of Hawaii Trap and Skeet <br />Range; and <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides <br />that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of money, <br />securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate, and <br />Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawaii County Code states that any gifts <br />or donations of money, securities, or personal property which fall within the <br />capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may be accepted by resolution <br />approved by the Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the <br />acceptance of this donation; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in <br />accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, and Chapter <br />2, Article 30, Section 2-162(a) of the Hawaii County Code, the Council of the County of <br />Hawaii accepts this donation. <br />
