RESOLUTION 1
JHEREAS, in the Ca i tal Improvement Projects budget
$50,000 has been allocated for the razing of the existing
wharf shed at Kai lug-Fiona, County of Hawaii ; and
.dH REAS, the said existing shed is essential to facilitate
the surface transportation of freight and. , particularly,
produce to and from the Kona area; and
IHEREA3, it is essential to the economy of the County of
Hawaii that regular surface transportation be provided to Kona,
NO , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
in and for the County of Hawaii toot the HONORABLE JOIE` A. BURNS,
Governor of the State of Hawaii , he and is hereby respectfully
requested to item veto `.subsection 3e of Section 0 , I-i.3. No. 1 .
BE IT FURTHER RESO:LV. d that the County Clerk be and is
hereby instructed to ior'w7rd a copy of this resolution to the
HONORABLE JOHN A. BURNS, Governor of the State of Hawaii .
