RESOLUTION NO. 138
WHEREAS, by Committee Report No. 12, the Public Works
Committee recommended the creation of four temporary positions
of Student Engineers for a period of three months at $1.50 per
hour for students who have completed one year at the university
and $1.75 per hour for students who have completed two years at
the university in the Bureau of Plans and Surveys of the
Department of Public Works LSection 8 .19 (b1/ .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors in and for the County of Hawaii that four temporary
positions of Student Engineers for a period of three months at
$1. 50 per hour for students who have completed one year at the
university and $1.75 per hour for students who have completed
two years at the university are hereby created in the Bureau of
Plans and Surveys of the Department of Public Works

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk is
hereby directed to send a copy each of this resolution to the
Departments of Public Works, County Chairman, Civil Service,
County Auditor, and County Attorney for their information.
