Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill No. 304.
reports as follows:
Bill No. 304, transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H. W Lee, via Communication
No. 837 amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 6, Section 24-288, Schedule 36 (Freight
loading zones), subsection (c), South Hilo, by revising an existing item:
"[(20)](19) Ponahawai Street, [Pu'u'eo] northwest side, [mauka] from a point nineteen feet
southwest of Punahoa Street, [thirty-five feet] and extending thirty two feet in the southwesterly
direction."
Communication 837.1, also transmitted by Public Works Director Warren H. W Lee, informs
Committee Members that item number"(19)"had been corrected in the transmittal as an error
was made on the previous transmittal letter for Bill 304.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the intent and
purpose of Bill No. 304, and recommends its passage on first reading.
