Re: Proposed Amendments to Bill 307, Relating to the Issuance of General Obligation
Bonds of the County of Hawai`i
Please find the below amendments to Bill 307. The proposed amendments are illustrated in
Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill 307 and bolded for emphasis (material to be
deleted is bracketed and stricken through; materials to be added is underlined).
1. Amending Section 1 to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. Findings and Determinations. The County Council hereby determines
sale and delivery of general obligation bonds of the County in an aggregate principal amount not to
exceed [n638304100] $21,935,100 (the "Bonds")for the purpose of funding all or a portion of the
costs of the County Projects referred to in Section 2 hereof."
2. Amending Section 2 to read as follows:
"SECTION 2. Authorization of Bonds. There are hereby authorized for issuance and sale, in
one or more series, Bonds of the County, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed [$414303000]
$21,935,100, for the purpose of funding all or a portion of the costs(including costs of issuance of the
Bonds) of public improvement projects authorized and set forth as follows:
